BEAUTY AND BARBERING

Beauticians may cut, color and style hair to enhance a client's appearance. Some beauticians, such as aestheticians, provide skin care, nail care and hair removal treatments. Beauticians may specialize in certain areas, such as makeup application, nail art, color analysis or personal styling services. Barbers cut, trim, shape, and taper their clients' hair. They usually use tools such as scissors, clippers, razors, and combs. Barbers may also provide other services such as applying lotions, shampooing, styling, coloring hair, and singeing. Barbers and Beauticians will typically bill the client, accept payment and tips and finalize the sale. They will clean their work area and tools according to the state's safety and sanitation requirements after each appointment and pay the agreed booth rent with owner of the Salon. The current price for booth rent at the Atmosphere Beauty and Barber Salon is currently $150.00 per week, with a first 2 months $100.00 per week new hire incentive.
